Description
Afton Fraser discusses her book, “Hollywood Picks the Classics.” She begins by explaining that the book focuses on the movies of the Golden Age of Hollywood specifically from 1930 to 1960. She divides the book into categories such as Film Noir, Romance, Good Guys/Bad Guys, and Damsels and Dames. For each category she lists the must-see. Fraser goes onto to share that the book includes a yearbook of the stars and directors that are described in the movies listed. She discusses how the book also has plot synopses, lists of cast and crew, famous quotes, trivia, and behind the scenes gossip. In addition, Fraser explains that what makes the book unique are the lists of personal top ten favorite films from Hollywood stars, directors, and writers.
