Description
A copy of a photograph that appeared in Out West magazine, 1907, with the caption "A busy day at the San Pedro wharves." The view shows workers loading lumber on the wharf at San Pedro Harbor (present-day Los Angeles Harbor), with ships moored along the dock.
Title supplied by cataloger. Date devised from writing on item: "Forest of Lumber Schooner Masts, San Pedro in 1896." This is a photograph of a page from Out West magazine, vol. 27, no. 4, October 1907. The photograph and caption were published with the article "San Pedro Harbor," which does not date the photograph, so it is not clear where the date 1896 originates.
