Description
Connie and Philip begin the interview discussing the context of the novel and how, in the book, the Earth and Universe are much older than humans estimate them to be, and how humans are the twenty-ninth variant of life on the planet but are on the brink of destroying themselves like previous life forms. They proceed to discuss the custodians of the book who travel on light across the universe looking to create brand new life, therefore repeating the process of life on Earth. Connie and Philip then talk about Philip’s career and his path to writing the book before moving on to talk about the science background in science fiction writing. Connie has Philip sing “Wimoweh” before closing this interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book. Connie and Lillian begin their interview discussing how the book is meant for people dealing with unfavorable people in their lives, and how it is not necessarily just for women. They proceed to discuss the various types of unfortunate men in the book, and approaches to dealing with such people. Lillian then relates an approach for dealing with an uncomfortable situation to Connie, and Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
