Description
Pacific Electric Railway streetcars no. 1299 and 5015 and a green bus with rooftop passenger seating parked on a street in North Glendale. The bus has the number 22 on its side and the sign across the top says "19. Riverside Drive." Three men are standing on the rooftop and the name on the side of the bus is illegible.
"Pacific Electric 1299-5015 bus No. Glendale 9-17-53"--text, handwritten in pencil on housing. Title and date devised by cataloger based on notes on housing. It is unclear who the operator of the bus is. The Pacific Electric Railway system of electric streetcars and rail was also known as the Red Car system.
