A horse-drawn carriage is shown at center making its way down the dirt road which leads to the mountains in the background and is skirted to either side by trees. To the left, a block of two-story commercial buildings stands, lined by sidewalk, on which a man in a suit and hat stands next to a sign reading "Fleming & Son Hardware and Plumbing". Kneeling in front of the sign, a second man can be seen tending to a bicycle.
