Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated April 13, 1963 partially reads, "Which one shall I wear in the Easter parade? asks Mrs. Allen K. Wood of Sherman Oaks. It's no wonder she can't decide. Mrs. Wood has a collection of more than 40 hats of all sizes and colors. And that's one of the reasons she was given the annual award from the Millinery Institute of America Inc. and the Valley Times TODAY as the Valley's 'Best Hatted' woman. 'I'm constantly on the lookout for attractive and unusual hats anywhere I shop,' she said. 'I pick up many of my hats at sales.' After browsing through her collection and trying many styles with her new mint green Easter ensemble, she finally decided on the chapeau below. Its mint green netting matches her new dress. Mrs. Wood is a member of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce Women's Division and the Valley Republican Women's Club."; See images #00141315 through #00141319 for all photos in this series.
