Description
A cabinet card of a group of painters in front of a structure titled "The Men That Painted The Darby," Los Angeles, circa 1900s. The men are wearing work clothes and are all white men, except for a black man at the center. Online descriptions indicate that the contractor for The Darby Hotel at West Adams Street and Flower Street, now called the Grace Apartments, was Charles Blodgett, a black man. The condition is good overall.
