Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on November 12, 1968 states: "A $5 million, 10-story high-rise structure soon will change the landscape at Lake Tahoe. The building is planned by the Cal-Neva Lodge. This architect's sketch shows the high-rise in the background. The Alpine roof at right is the entrance to the existing showroom, and the Joseph Magnin store is on the left. The California-Nevada state line is through the pine tree on the right side of the photograph. The view is toward the lake."
