Description
Photograph caption dated February 16, 1954 reads "In fight to finish." The article partially reads "Mounting pressure from angry North Hollywood and Burbank area home owners against a proposed route for the Riverside Freeway appears to have won at least a temporary concession from the State Highway Commission. Los Angeles City Councilmen Earle Baker and Everett Burkhalter pledged 100 per cent support and warned the home owners to present a united front once public meetings are held."
