Photograph article dated November 14, 1959 reads, "Anticipating Thanksgiving, members of the Mothers' Club of San Fernando Theta Rho Chapter 90 will assist their daughters in preparation of a public turkey dinner to be served at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fraternal Hall, 1024 1/2 San Fernando Rd. Proceeds will defray travel expenses for the local Theta Rho's representatives to the Theta Rho assembly in April at Long Beach. State President Jetty Cole, a past president of the San Fernando club, will be in charge of the assembly. A series of informal fund-raising card parties will be conducted by the Mothers Club under the direction of Mrs. Eugene Peterson, new Mothers Club president. Other new officers are Mmes. Robert L. Porter, vice president; Bernard Gulbranson, recording secretary; Morgan Bull, corresponding secretary; David A. Dunlop, treasurer, and Donald L. Hickok, chaplain. Next Mothers Club meeting will be at the home of Mrs. John H. Herndon, at 1705A Fourth St., San Fernando."
