Colman writes to an unknown correspondent from "4 Melina Place, West. Road" with a refusal to an unknown proposal, as he is too busy with the Haymarket Theatre and his plans for Benefit Nights for performers and the production of a new "farce" which is already underway. Colman signature appears on first page.
