The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. U.S. and California flags hang outside and a number of cars are parked in front of the restaurant. Wolfgang Puck was head chef of the restaurant at one time. In 1985, the original restaurant seen here was closed. In 1988, Patrick Terrail opened the new Ma Maison restaurant inside the Hotel Sofitel, located at Beverly and La Cienega boulevards in Beverly Hills.
