Feb. 23, 1991 meeting of floral association, location Otani Hotel with speakers Arthur Ito and President Frank Kwarahara (?) Arthur Ito was a prominent figure in the floral industry. He and his wife Aiko ran Flower View Gardens in Hollywood for 55 years, from 1962-2000. Ito was the first chairman of the California State Florist Association and a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), Florists' Transworld Delivery Association (FTD), Society of American Florists (SAF), and the American Academy of Floriculture. In 1992, Ito was inducted into the Society of American Florists Hall of Fame.
