Description: This is a photograph of the first page of a short story by Hannibal Coons that appeared in Collier's Weekly magazine on April 19, 1952. The title refers to a fictitious film pitch about a beauty contestant that joins the Women's Army Corp. A section detailing how Hollywood saves money by using real U.S. military war footage has been highlighted with pencil.
