Description
Sacramento State University Professor of History and Department Chair Aaron Cohen takes us on a journey whereby we view Europe's artistic response to the trauma of the Great War. Works by Picasso, Nevinson, Malevich, Duchamp, Lissitzky, are all addressed. The lecture was part of the Sacramento Public Library's July 2014 series World War I Revisited, dedicated to an observation of the centennial of the war that changed our world.
