Description
Arrival of the 100-inch telescope mirror at Mount Wilson Observatory. The large mirror is covered with a white tarpaulin, and is draped with an American flag. The mirror is in the back of a truck, which is parked outside the open doorway of the 100-inch telescope building. A crowd of unidentified men surrounds teh truck and the mirror. The observatory building is seen behind the mirror and the truck; the stairs leading to the exterior balcony part way up the domed roof are also visible.
