Description
The Nichols Building, originally in the 100 block of W. Palm, moved to 607 S Myrtle Ave in c. 1893. Mr. Nichols originally sold carpets. "The Store of J.T. Milligan in the Wardall block. He came to Monrovia from Iowa in 1888, and shortly afterward embarked in the grocery business. The public telephone office is located in his store." Monrovia Messenger Souvenir Edition 1897.
