Description
Clarkson: Friedhofseingang m. holländ. Inschrift, auf der and. Seite wohl kaffrische." ("Clarkson: Entrance to the graveyard w[ith] Dutch inscription, on the oth[er] side probably Kaffir [inscription]."). The picture shows the entrance gate to a graveyard. Between the two pillars of the gate is a beam with a Dutch inscription: "Ik leef en gy zult leven." ("I live and you shall also live."). On the left and right of the gate are walls made of stone and trees. Written on the card board: "P. Theile. 1934.
