Photograph of Walter Hagen playing at Catalina Golf Course on Catalina Island, ca.1930. Hagen can be seen to the right while leaning on a golf club he is dressed in plus fours and a sweater. To his left, in the center, another player is observable standing in a swing position. A crowd of people in the background is visible, either standing or sitting behind a rope line. A small open-air resting area(?) is sitting behind the crowd and a sign can be seen next to it which says: "NOTICE". A tree and mountains fill in the backdrop. Originally, the image was labeled as "Walter Hagen at Los Angeles Open golf tournament, ca.1930".
