District south of Lake Erie and north of the Ohio River is now named "Western Territory." Kentucky & part of Tennessee inserted correctly. "Indiana" shown in current West Virginia probably from Hutchin's "New Map of Western Parts of Virginia" of 1778. "Canada" corrected to above current border. Tennessee admitted 1796 and map appeared in "Universal Atlas" with maps from 1800, hence dating by Stevens. Submap: A sketch of the Remaining part of the Ohio R., &c. MS note: 18230.
