Photograph article dated August 30, 1962 partially reads, "One of Finland's three most beautiful girls, 18-year-old Eeva Malinen, is in North Hollywood this week. and she admits she wants to stay. "I love Americans," she says with broken English and her merry violet eyes, though the dark-haired beauty is resigned that she must return home next week. Miss Malinen was one of the 15 semifinalists in the recent "Miss International Beauty" contest in Long Beach. Actually, she finished third in this year's "Miss Finland" competition, but she became the Long Beach delegate when the other two girls entered "Miss Europe" and "Miss Universe" contests." Finnish beauty, Eeva visits a Scandinavian shop where she met Mrs. Kujala.
