Reed and Jake Pfosi, Jr. at left. Photograph was taken on November 6, 1936. A partial view of a Sutter's Fort bastion is seen on the far left.
McCurry no. Sacramento's contribution to the celebration of the opening of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge was the Progress of Transportation Pageant. The Pageant consisted of a different form of transportation leaving Sutter's Fort each day, traveling to San Francisco for the opening. Pageant was sponsored by the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce.
