Description
Photograph of the courtyard of Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, ca.1900. A large adobe arch can be seen in the foreground, and a large courtyard is visible beyond. At right, a line of arches is visible, while ruined adobe buildings can be seen in the background. Further in the distance, a large church is visible. A bell tower can be seen on the end of the building at center. Much of the light-colored plaster is missing from the adobe structures, revealing the darker bricks underneath.
