Image of brother and sister Roman D. Sepulveda and Rudecinda Florencia Sepulveda de Dodson, members of the Sepulveda family, wearing historic Spanish clothing including a lace dress and mantilla, while aboard a ship next to a life ring marked "California, New York."

Date and original photographer supplied by cataloger based on information provided for same image held in the Adelbert Bartlett Papers, University of California, Los Angeles: "San Pedro - oldest citizens, 1929." The Sepulveda family was one of Southern California's pioneer families and owners of the Palos Verdes Rancho.
