Description
Watching dancer Carla Laemmle are: left to right (in Chinese clothing) Lucille Fong, Doris Chan, Marian Leng, Eleanor Lee and Priscilla. Carla is the daughter of the late Carl Laemmle of Universal Studios, taking a leading part in Chinese dances in China City. Due to her efforts, a good fund was obtained for the women and children refugees in China. She played in "Balulaika," "The Chinese Princess," and "Her Majesty the Prince."
