Description
Destruction of Radio KEEN building, 233 West Santa Clara Street, San Jose, California. Only the first story remains standing; stories two and three have been knocked down. A pile of rubble lies on top of the building; the Radio Keen sign is not on the building. The back of a dump truck can be seen of in front of the building. Red and yellow construction wooden barricades are along the street; a man watches demolition in the middle of the photo. The Hotel de Anza can be seen in the background. On the left are a red and yellow truck parked in front of the Workman's Store (218 West Santa Clara Street, San Jose, California). Information taken from the 1966 San Jose City Directory.
