Description
Engraved map, 58 x 45, issued by Tobias Conrad Lotter in Vienna, perhaps in his Atlas novus of 1772c or perhaps earlier. Re-issued in his atlas of 1778 with annotationes recentissimas per G. d L'Isle prostat... Apud T.C. Lotter. A Delisle type No. 1 map, except that some of the names are Latinized. Includes the routes of Cortes, Drake, Noort, and several other explorers.
