Photograph caption dated November 11, 1961 reads, "Nipper, the fox terrier, and Chris, the shepherd, agree that a dog just can't be smart enough these days. And they have earned many awards in obedience trials to prove their prowess. The Companion Dog Training Club, a non-profit organization, is sponsoring a 10-lesson series of novice training classes for dogs beginning Wednesday. Classes will be held at the Woodland Hills Club House, 20040 Redwing St. Further information can be obtained at DI. 7-6006. Cost for series is $15."
