Description
The Constance Hotel, located at Colorado Street and Mentor Avenue, is under construction in 1926. The reinforced concrete structure was to hold 164 "sumptuously furnished" guest rooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a garage with space for 45 cars. The owner of the building was Constance V. Lewis Perry, a prominent local businesswoman and president of the Constance Investment Company.
