Description: It isn't Dodger Stadium, but it's a start. More than two dozen major leaguers have passed through Chet Brewer Field in South Central Los Angeles on the way to star-studded careers in the bigs. Most wouldn't have made it without Chet Brewer and his semi-pro Rookies team. Photo dated: June 7, 1983.
