William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army, by Miss Frances O'Farrell (center), honorary mayor of Winnetka, was highlight of a reception at The Salvation Army Van Nuys Corps last week. Brig. E. H. Wedler (left) was honored as he leaves Van Nuys to head the Oxnard Corps. Lt. Col. Harold G. Barry, Southern California Divisional Commander, was on hand at the event."
