Photograph of University of Southern California football coach Jess Hill being hoisted on players' shoulders after the 1953 Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin, 7-0. There is a very clear shot of the entire scoreboard in the background of this shot: Wis. 0 - SC 7. Wisconsin had 19 first downs, USC had 15., Times reads 0:00, and 5 yards to go, and the 4th quarter. This picture also gives a good idea of how packed & crowded the stadium was with people and how the crowd stayed until the end of the game. Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, California, January 1, 1953.
