Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
In 2005, the Palm Valley School merged with Marywood Country Day School, which opened in 1978, to form Marywood-Palm Valley School. The school is now located in Rancho Mirage.
Looking northeast over Palm Valley School, located at 67675 Bolero Road in Palm Springs. The school was founded by Mr. And Mrs. J. Blake Field in 1952, and was located four miles outside the city of Palm Springs (it became King's Schools in 1993). It appears that no other buildings or dwellings were in close proximity to the school when this photo was taken, and though the surrounding area looks extremely arid, the school grounds look green and lush. Photograph dated February 19, 1955.
