Payton pleaded guilty to the charges of having cashed three bad checks for $100, $18 and $11 on Sept. 21 and 24 in a market at 7880 Sunset Blvd. She received a suspension of her 60-day County Jail sentence on condition she pay a $100 fine during a year's probation.
