Ein Bewohner von Elim mit Familie." ("A resident of Elim with [his] family."). The picture shows a man, a woman, three boys, a girl and an infant of mixed origin sitting or standing on a small platform in front of a house. Except the girl in the middle the family is dressed in dark cloth. On the right a window, on the left a door which is open. A window on the other end of the room is visible. Stairs next to the platform lead up to the door. Imprinted on the image: "1720.
