Description
"Eine Straussenherde." ("A herd of ostriches."). The picture shows a group of around 25 ostriches. Between the ostriches on the left a man with a hat holding a stick. To the far left another man or boy with a hat holding a stick. On the right a boy with a hat and a stick. All three people are of African origin. Trees and bushes in the background. Imprinted on the image: "Eine Straussenherde. Süd-Afrika-West. No. 514." ("A herd of ostriches. South Africa West. No. 514.").
Photography faded. -- On the right the photography was damaged but fixed again and a couple of red spots appear on the photography. -- The photo was taken in the Western part of South Africa.
