Description
A young man sits in an Empire style chair wearing full dress attire for a British gentlemen in 1810. He wears a white shirt and a white waistcoat with a tall, standing collar. His white cravat is tied high on his neck, ending in a small bow. His dark brown double breasted tailcoat has a tall, stiff collar with M style notched lapels. The long sleeves of the coat have wide cuffs. Hanging from his waist is a small gold fob. His tan knee breeches fasten snugly with three buttons and a tie. He wears white hosiery and flat black slippers with small bows, and carries tan gloves and a black bicorn hat. His hair is short and worn in curls with half-length sideburns.
