Photograph caption dated August 29, 1985 reads, "Bill Gregory stands on street in Chinatown where his Toyota station wagon was stolen while he wrote a thank-you letter to couple who gave it to him." Photograph snipe dated August 28, 1985 reads. "The 'Night Stalker' stole Bill Gregory's car from this very spot on Cottage Home street in Chinatown just feet away from the Pasadena Freeway."
