San Fernando Valley State College later became California State University, Northridge. Photograph caption dated January 16, 1961 reads, "Hans Mangelsdorf, 4, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mangelsdorf, 8547 Commanche [sic] Ave., Canoga Park, sizes up futuristic cage, one of a group of space age designs now being shown at Valley State College in Northridge by scientists from Ramo Wooldridge. The display consists of brochures, pamphlets and posters prepared by the research firm."
