One man stands near the bow of the ship next to a large wooden pole parallel to the mast. Another man stands at the center of the boat near the central mast. Above the mast, two large triangular sails are visible. The third man is seen sitting at the stern of the boat on the boat's ridge. Large wooden oars are seen extending from the center of the boat on either side. In the extreme background, a snow-capped mountain frames the empty sky.
