The second location of Ed's Towne shop on San Fernando Boulevard near Orange Grove Avenue, after the original had been razed to make way for the Burbank Towne Center. The Los Angeles Times described the men's clothing store as a "mainstay of the Burbank Golden Mall." The site was previously a Pep Boys and before that a bank (according to the owners of the property, remnants of the bank can still be found on the site). The building in the photo was torn down and rebuilt, and is currently (2019) the location of Fuddruckers and Mama Hong's. The men standing in front of the store are Elliot Leifer and his father Samuel Leifer, owners of Ed's. The family still owns the property. From notes on photo: “Town Center ‘86”
