Photograph caption reads: "Stephane Dunoyer de Segonzac tripped the automatic camera placed on the nose of his hang glider by Her[ald] Ex[aminer] photog[rapher] Chris Gulker during his attempted world record hang glider descent. Attempt was aborted at 27,000 feet when the balloon carrying him ruptured short of the planned mark of 40,000 feet." Photograph dated: Sept. 9, 1978.
