Description: Doctor Elizabeth Gallimore is shown sitting in a horse drawn buggy in front of her house. A dog sits beside her. The house was located at 1500 The Alameda. It was renumbered twice - as 1504 The Alameda and then 1860 The Alameda. Dr. Elizabeth Gallimore (1863-1910) is believed to have been the first woman physician in San Jose.
