Photograph caption dated April 25, 1958 reads "Horace W. Brewer, seated center, chairman of Junior Achievement fund drive, works hard at sending out additional letters to business firms asking further support of program after drive fell short by $22,000 of $103,500 goal. Assisting him are Wayne Javurek, 17, of Notre Dame High School, and Nancy Thisselle, 15, of Burbank High School." Junior Achievement is a non-profit youth organization formed in 1919 to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
