Image shows view of the Mr. & Mrs. J.H. Gaines residence, located on Via del Monte on lot 17, block 1537, tract 6884 in Malaga Cove. Image looking southwest shows front view of the two-story, eight-room stucco house with tile roof, chimney and detached two-car garage. An automobile is parked in front of the garage behind house at left. A balcony with wrought-iron grill overlooks front yard with newly planted landscaping. The home was later owned by Mr. James of Beverly Hills.
