Description
To the left ca. 16 huts made predominantly of grass. In the middle Hermann Grabe next to three Afar men with spears, to the right three children and a woman "stehen am Zug und bieten ihre Ware an. Bei dem kleinen Kind kann man die Haarfrisur sehen, kahl geschorener Kopf mit einem Schopf am Wirbel" ("are standing at the train offering their goods. On the little child the hairstyle can be seen, shaved head with a tuft at the crown.")The scene is located at the railway station of Mata Haaraa, ca. 150 km from Adis Abeba.
