Description
Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing a monument on Market Street, 1906. Three men in dark suits and hats walk with cases in their hands just in front of a monument. The monument has a tall pedestal which presents a man holding a flag and a second figure with wings. A dog on the right runs through the rubble which lies in piles below the ruined buildings which continue into the background. The buildings are missing their roofs and most of their exterior walls.
