Description
This 1997 postcard shows the Discovery Museum, located at 101 I Street. At the time this photograph was taken, the museum's mission sought to educate through interactive exhibits covering science, history and technology. It was established in January 1994 when the Sacramento History Museum merged with the Sacramento Science Center. The museum occupies the former City Hall and Waterworks building, constructed in 1854.
