Annotation translation: "Samarinda 22. Nov, 1926. My dear Theo! Our new Director has been here now. - On 7th March 1927 I shall be able to start my journey from Singapore on furlough on the 'Werfthinger' [reading uncertain]. In November 1927 I shall relieve our main representative in Borneo. With best wishes and may we meet again soon, Erwin [reading uncertain]." Annotation: "Samarinda 22.11.26. Mein lieber Theo! Unser neuer Direktor ist nun hier gewesen. - Am 7. März 27 darf ich auf D. 'Werfthinger' [Entzifferung unklar] meine Urlaubsreise antreten ab Singapur! Im November 1927 soll ich dann unseren Borneo - Hauptvertreter ablösen. Herzliche Gück- und Segenswünsche und auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen! Dein Erwin [Entzifferung unklar]."
