Description
Photo shows police marksmen and a pair of fine turkeys seeking homes. A turkey shoot competition was being held at the Elysian park police patrol range. The shoot was open to the public where marksmen would fire at targets in the hopes of winning a turkey for his Christmas table. Shown are officers, left to right: C. E. Ward, J. J. Engbrecht, M. W. Wheeler, J. A. Leemux and Assistant Chief James E. Davis. Photo dated December 22, 1931.
